Wait one More remaster, 2003 album by Tom Cook (Manni).

wait one more 2003 by tomcook
2003 a prolific year for me a think nearly three albums created that year, living with the mighty Sam Catling and the original man of funk Del Vanderpants.
Blink it away-a cartoonesque cut up of strangely linking lines, using the last word form one line to veer off into a new one.
One shot- the title is based on a Frank Zappa song 'it might just be a one shot deal', a bit of urgency is always useful when your are a drifting musician, lets just fire the arrow and get on with it!!
Mowumm-One of my favourite pieces, really exploring the use of sampling and vocals.
Woah Boy-A broken toy sound box starts this piece, it has been released by liftmusic and has been on cbbc and other such channels. Upbeat and hectic, this style has become something thya i love doing, using my sugar rush mind and love of riffs.
Mirror of me-After some tough years in my teens and early twenties, my mind needed some clearing and found a great man, Richard Spurgeon who became a mirror for me using pyschosynthesis to release a poor battered lad from inside me. This is about looking a letting go of grief.
Glasso- as is often the way i name my synth patches and songs with bizarre titles , the main glass like sound is called glasso so there you are (luckily the sound soft oral hasn't made it yet!)
Wait on More-As teenagers my old band the Razorbacks went on a caravan holiday, after food poisoning and alot of different substances, somehow a tape was made of us talking and 'wait one more' was the phrase that stuck in our heads. Is it a want for excess, a call to not be alone or just someone wanting to wait one more.
Losing your tether-there was a certain panic about in the early 00's, people were doing well money was good but beneath was a strange furore.
Nemo- my dad is an organist who sports a fine beard and has always been called nemo by some of my older friends, this is a track for him, don't think i ever told him though, better do it!
Helm-Adam curtis is an amazing documentary maker and social commentator whose series century of the self spawned this track. The main parts of this involve people going through therapy sessions to release their animal owerful selves, with some comic results, but the essence is there.
Arms-this track sometimes appears on this album and is just a love song for all the girls you lose, or leave, you never stop loving, but you love the memory i feel....
